We had a blast in New York. We decided it was time to make some memories of our own together, especially since we likely won't have a lot of 1 on 1 time for a while. This is in Little Italy, where we got caught in the "gelatto (sp?) trap." We saw 2 plays, Macbeth, and Thurougood Marshall, as well as the musical Wicked. I think I was suppose to underline those titles, but I can't remember anymore (5 years is a long time to be out of school!). We saw a Yankees game, Ground Zero, Wallstreet, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim Museum, Central Park, Chinatown etc...We did a lot of just plain roaming too (which is what I like :). It was action packed, and a lot of fun for us! And thanks to those who watched Jonah and took good care of him. We missed our little guy a lot!

baby Ayers

For those of you who haven't heard, our baby has what's called hydronephrosis. Which means he has an enlarged kidney due to blockage or malfunction of some kind. The specialist said that our odds are good for his kidney to correct itself which we are so grateful for, and that this is the most common anomaly found in ultrasounds. Nonetheless, we ask for you to remember baby Ayers in yours prayers and fasting this Sunday, that the odds may in reality favor him. Thanks

The joys of a 3 year old

On a happier note, we went to Jonah's soccer game on Saturday. Unfortunately most of the games have been rained out, but the few we've been to have been so fun. This is the stuff life is made of! He made his 1st goal and from way down the field the first thing he did was look to make sure we were watching. I yelled out, "I saw that Jonah, way to go, that was awesome!" he them came running all the way down the field in the middle of the game and came right up to us and said, "Did you see that!" He was soo excited. I have to admit, being the cheesy mom that I am, that it made my eyes all watery. I had to quickly compose myself so I didn't look like a complete freak in front of all the other parents who have done this over and over with multiple kids. Jonah=joy in my life, just for being him, what more can I say?!

No we aren't having twins....

for those of you who have heard me gripe about this too much already, I apologize. I get asked on a daily basis if we are having twins, or even triplets. I am just one of those lucky girls who looks and feels 9 months pregnant at 6 months, and by 9 months I look and feel 12 months (does that make me an elephant or some other animal with crazy long pregnancies? Maybe, (mabye I should check my family tree). I don't think the fact that it is 5 am, and I've been up since 2 am from an aching body that feels like it should be going into labor soon helps my mood any! And I have how much longer to go? 3 months and 11 days, that's right.

So we have to get the news out there, that 1) we are pregnant (In case anyone didn't notice the huge mountain on my stomach!) and 2) that we are having a boy!
